Best Fine Dining Restaurant of 2013: Lindey’s

German Village staple Lindey’s has topped our reader survey for the past two years in the category of fine dining. And for very good reason. This neighborhood gem has been serving up some of the best food in an amazing setting for over three decades.

In 2013 we highlighted Lindey’s as one of the best places in Columbus for Mother’s Day Brunch as well as having one of the Top 12 Most Romantic Patios in Columbus during the warmer months.

“For many, a trip to historic German Village would not be complete without a stop at Lindey’s, whether for lunch, drinks on their amazing patio, or a special occasion dinner in one of their many banquet rooms,” says CU Food Writer Ayana Wilson. “What makes their patio one of the most romantic in the city is how you feel when you sit there: like you’ve stepped into an oasis, complete with smiling strangers who always refill your drink, umbrella-ed tables that allow just the right peek of sun or moon light, and a babbling fountain in the middle of it all that mimics the sound of lapping waves.”
