Best CU Messageboard Topic of 2009: The Casino

There are dozens of different topics being discussed on the Columbus Underground Messageboard on any given day, so to choose an overall best topic of the year requires something with a very significant and long-lasting impact. Our reader’s poll showed that the number one topic of 2009 was The Columbus Casino. As of today, over 20 conversations about the casino have been started with over 2,600 comments added to the collective discussion. Few topics are worthy of such a long ongoing debate, and it’s already looking like this is one topic that will carry over long into 2010.

    ROFL! Seems like the dirty franks thread has seen a ton of coverage over the year. it always amazes me how much people like to talk about hotdogs, but it never gets old and I get hungry every time.

    Thanks for putting this all togeather Walker. How many people voted overall in the survey? curious if it is the regulars voting or all of the thread dwellers as well.

    We had a total of 667 people who took the survey, although we allowed for question-skipping, so not all questions had 667 votes, but most all of them had over 450 votes. I think it was a great cross-section of regulars, lurkers, and newbies alike. ;)
