The Crest Gastropub is popular throughout the city for a few things: a great lineup of craft beers, a cool, rustic-industrial interior and vibe, and a sustainable attitude toward food and food preparation anchored by one of the few restaurant rooftop gardens.
The dishes Chef Dustin Brafford puts out of The Crest’s kitchen are carefully prepared in a large, traditional, wood-fired oven, and filled with creative innovations from his many travels overseas.
So, it should come as no surprise that for Best Bites: Burgers, Chef Brafford is bringing something exotically delicious. The Moroccan Tagine Burger is inspired by his time in the Middle East, and promises to be authentic in flavor and execution.
A Moroccan-spiced lamb patty (think cumin, cinnamon, ginger, cayenne, and cloves) is conscientiously topped with artichoke tapenade, pomegranate glaze, and grilled radicchio for an exciting combination of tastes and textures.
This non-traditional burger may just be the best in Columbus for its sheer boldness and singularity. Find out for yourself at Best Bites: Burgers, scheduled to take place on Wednesday, August 20th, 6pm – 9pm, at the High Line Car House, 550 South High Street. [Tickets to Best Bites: Burgers are currently sold out.]
