Best Bites Breakdown: Star Lanes Polaris

When one thinks about creating the ideal burger for a Buckeye, what does one envision it to be? Is it oversized to represent the abundance of talent we always have on the roster? Maybe it includes nuts, cause, well, you know?

Chef Jake Green of Star Lanes Polaris has himself considered this very question, and when asked to be a part of Best Bites: Burgers, he jumped on the opportunity to truly define the burger best suited for Buckeyes.

The Brutus Burger is a half pound, 70/30 ground beef patty, topped with sharp Tillamook white cheddar, sweet caramelized onions, and 5-hour braised then shredded short rib. Go Bucks!

This hearty burger is brutal in its assault on your taste buds. It’s meaty, juicy, texturally interesting, and downright gut busting. It’s the kind of burger that can’t quite be contained, or tamed. Much like our Buckeyes.

Is the Brutus the best burger in town? Come see how he stacks up at the Best Bites: burgers event, scheduled to take place on Wednesday, August 20th, 6pm – 9pm, at the High Line Car House, 550 South High Street. [Tickets to Best Bites: Burgers are currently sold out.]
