Best Arts & Culture Institution of 2014: Columbus Museum of Art

The Columbus Museum of Art is one of the prime examples of an arts and culture institution, which is one reason our readers voted it number one in this year’s annual survey. Another reason is that there’s been a lot of buzz at the CMA in 2014 due to the ongoing expansion, which will add a modern new wing to the museum, adding 50,000 square feet of space, and renovating 38,000 square feet of older space. The work will continue well into 2015 (though the CMA will remain open to the public all throughout construction) with a target completion date of Autumn.
