Best Art Gallery of 2009: Mahan Gallery
If there’s one thing that this portion of our reader’s poll proves, its that there’s no shortage of great art venues throughout Columbus. The space that found its way to the top of our list is the boutique-style Mahan Gallery located at 717 North High Street in the Short North. Owner Jacquie Mahan kicked off 2009 with a high profile show featuring The Cars frontman Ric Ocasek and later shared her inspirations with us in a featured interview back in June. Currently, the show “Attic Days” can be found at Mahan through January 16th.

This wasn’t even close, in my mind. The Ric Ocasek exhibit was singlehandedly the best exhibit of 2009. “Attic Days” was a great exhibit.

just giving a bump for the Lindsay Gallery. if it isn’t part of your rotation, and it appears it isn’t on enough to be top 10, i would recommend making it.
