Tennessee-based retailer Bargain Hunt is entering the Central Ohio market this fall with two new stores that are opening next month. The first will launch on Friday, September 9th at 3574 Soldano Boulevard on the west side of Columbus, while the second will open on Friday, September 30th in Heath.
The stores are both approximately 20,000 square feet in size, and carry a variety of home goods, apparel, electronics, decor, kitchen items and more. Bargain Hunt operates on the closeout retail model, not unlike the locally-based Big Lots, and has seen rapid growth since launching in 2000, with 12 new stores having opened in 2016 alone.
“We know that customers are interested in value-driven retailers,” said Don Gozzard, Vice President of Retail Operations at Bargain Hunt. “We’re one of the best at providing national products and brands at a great value and our customer service is top notch. We feel as long as we provide service and a great value; we’ll continue to grow.”
