Assignment: We Want Your ComFest Photos

Columbus Underground is teaming up with new local startup Bylined to crowdsource an album of ComFest photos this year. So if you’re planning on attending ComFest this weekend, and you plan to have your iPhone on your person, then you’re already 90 percent on your way to participating in the project!

All you need to do next is head to the App Store to download the free app (sorry, it’s only available for iPhones at the moment), sign in, select the Columbus Underground ComFest assignment, and start shooting and submitting your favorite photos!

We’ll select the best submissions that will go into a gallery here on CU, and you’ll get paid $10 for every photo we license and use. Congrats — you’re officially a freelance photographer!

“Bylined was born at this time last year around Comfest and we’re really excited to see it come to life at this year’s festival,” said Bylined Community Manager Alissa Ohashi. “We really just want the festival-goers to have fun with this assignment and let us see the different perspectives of how each person experiences our community.”
