A Trio of Port Columbus News Updates

By: Walker

Yesterday yielded some good news, some bad news, and some more bad news out at Port Columbus. First the bad news: Business First is reporting that five airport hotels are having financial problems and are lagging on their rent and tax payments being made to the airport. Next, the other bad news: the Dispatch is reporting that traffic is down nearly 25% from this time last year, mostly because of the absence of Skybus. And finally the good news: Marla Matzer Rose is reporting on her Flying Coach Blog that the Port Columbus Cup O’ Joe location is being expanded into a MoJoe Lounge. Because nothing helps like a drink or two when faced with these types of financial hardships.
