A New Rooftop Bar is Coming to Columbus

In a move that is “sure to change the way we experience Columbus’ skyline,” a local catering company is opening a new premier rooftop dining and event space on top of the Smith Bros’ Hardware Building this fall.

Dock580, a twenty-year business based inside the Smith Bros’ Hardware building, will open Juniper, a restaurant-bar focused on small plates, cocktails and, primarily, gin. It’s going for “The Great Gatsby meets the midwest,” combining elegance with “quality and grit.” It’ll be open during the weekdays to the public but will host private events of up to 300 people on the weekends.

“It’s going to be the cherry on top of the revitalization of downtown,” said Steve Rayo, dock580 President, in a press release.

Juniper is booking now. For more information, visit juniperrooftop.com.
