First Night Columbus will end earlier this year and cost less to attend, but organizers say there are plenty of activities to keep celebrants busy.

NYC at my friends place in SoHo yay!!!
I’d like to add Bikram Yoga Columbus’ option. For $25 you get a full yoga class followed by a champagne toast and food! I’d love to go but for some reason nobody wants to babysit on NYE :)

I’m slightly confused – are Cotters mis-advertizing, because the Dispatch article says: “no fireworks this year because of construction on Downtown bridges.”?
Are there any fireworks?
Oops. I pulled that info from the Cotter’s website, but it must be old before the fireworks were canceled.
all i want to do is dance! now if only the rave reunion was this thurs….. anybody know of fun events, Bristol would be cool but 70 bucks is steep plus there’s no guarantee it will be packed. im not trying to belittle Bristol its just the past several times i went its been kinda dead. so im concerned about new years. if Bristol could promise that cover will stay at $70 on NYE and i do a walk by and its packed, then i will attend for sure. i know sometimes bars will raise the cover during the actually event.
let me clarify…. 70 bucks is a good deal, just not if its dead.
I totally understand! We have currently sold 75% of capacity, and generally people like to procractinate (our first ticket sold 12/4) so I’m pretty certain it will be sold out in the next few days. So, your best bet is to buy early and online. Remember, the $70 is not a cover. It includes all you can eat and all you can drink. And not just the cheap stuff! Our entire menu.
Whatever you decide, have a fun and safe NYE!
75% is awesome! unfortunately all i will be drinking is PBR so you will make a killing off of me.
Hey Walker and Hungrywoolf–we apologize for the confusion about the fireworks! We’re pretty bummed that they’ve been canceled, but our party will still be a great time!!! Happy Holidays!
HA! Use this as an opportunity to try other beers on our menu; our Brooklyn selection is pretty incredible and so is our Bells selection.
I have two extra tickets to the Renaissance Party for $85 each. They are currently around $110. I will be attending and can meet the buyer at Will Call at an agreed upon time.
