Blink 182 — These California pop-punk rockers return to Columbus to kick off a month of music with an August 1st show at EXPRESS LIVE! Four Year Strong serves as their opener, and hopefully you already have your tickets, because this show is sold out.

Rascal Flatts — These country artists aren’t typically associated as a local act, but having formed in Columbus means that their upcoming show at the Ohio State Fair is a homecoming of sorts. The Rhythm and Roots tour hits the Celeste Center on August 3rd.

My Morning Jacket — Indie rockers MMJ are on a cross-country tour this summer with a stop in Columbus on August 10th. The band is touring to promote their One Big Holiday release, so you can expect a performance sprinkled with hidden gems from the band’s full catalogue.

The Wallflowers — 90s-era darlings The Wallflowers and Better Than Ezra will team up for a show on August 10th at Zoombezi Bay. Neither band has released a new album in a few years, so you can likely expect a variety of tracks from both bands’ discographies.

TLC — Headlining this year’s 90s Fest at Columbus Commons is TLC, one of the biggest R&B and hip-hop groups to emerge from the decade. Remaining members T-Boz and Chilli will dominate the stage on August 21th, so make sure to don your freshest 90s gear and get there early.

Blackstreet — Too good to lump under one entry, Blackstreet and TLC both get their own separate shout outs as music worth checking out this month. Wouldn’t be the 90s Fest without some No Diggity.

Kid Koala — Beloved turntablist Kid Koala lands in Columbus at Ace of Cups on August 15th for an intimate show that will likely be a bit more laid back thanks to a new album of ambient music (Music to Draw to: Satellite) released earlier this year.

Kendrick Lamar — Arguably the biggest concert of August will be the Kendrick Lamar show at the Schottenstein Center on August 22nd. Already one of the biggest names in hip-hop today, Lamar is touring to support his double platinum album Damn, released back in April.

Lil Uzi Vert — One of the biggest up-and-coming rappers in recent years is  Lil Uzi Vert, who will be landing at EXPRESS LIVE! on August 24th. The show was originally scheduled for June 8th and was pushed back.
