The Columbus Film + Video Festival (CIF+VF) returns for its 65th year in 2017 in April, bringing film fans a slate of new movies, documentaries, shorts, cartoons and more. Headlining film Signature Move is not only fresh off its premiere at SXSW, but also has local ties as director Jennifer Reeder is an OSU-grad and Central Ohio native.
“We wanted to take a look at Columbus as a creative city,” explained Jeremy Henthorn, Executive Director of CIF+VF. “Central Ohio has become a real hub for incredibly talented artists and filmmakers. For our 65th year, we wanted to celebrate the films and filmmakers who have a deep connection with our city.”
Additional films with Ohio connections include documentaries Strad Style and The JJ Project.
