39 Below FroYo Now Open on Gay Street

The summer heat on Gay Street just got a little cooler with today’s soft opening of 39 Below FroYo. This self-serve frozen yogurt shop has opened its doors at 39 E. Gay Street and customers are welcome to stop in to try the eight flavors featured today, ranging from Cake Batter to Non-Fat Original Tart. A selection of over a dozen toppings and sauces allows you to customize your treat to your own liking.

Owner Carolyn Maloney said that 39 Below FroYo will be open from 11am to 10pm, Monday through Saturday and closed on Sunday to start, with hours to be adjusted seasonally.

    Froyo seems to be the rage again. This place reminds me of Orange Leaf (which I love!). A nice addition to Gay St. I hope they can keep those ambitious hours.

    Very ambitious hours for starting out but I am really rooting for this place.

    There seems to be pretty low overhead costs, and with the nearby restaurants I hope it works out.

    Also, having been skeptical of the name originally, the logo and branding seems to be much better done than I was expecting.

    Looking forward to trying it out!
