2010 Lucas Sullivant Gift Award Winners Announced

The Lucas Sullivant Gift Awards are a recognition of significant local individuals, organizations, and corporations at the Columbus Historical Society’s annual Columbus birthday celebration. This year, the three award winners that will be honored are City Auditor Hugh Dorrian, The Franklinton Historical Society and Grange Insurance. The award ceremony is one part of the cocktail party that will take place on Thursday, February 18th at 379 W. Broad Street in Franklinton.

Additionally, ColumbusUnderground.com will be presenting the first annual Arch Award at the event. This award will go out to an individual who is making current history with their civic outreach efforts. The Arch Award winner will be unveiled at the event.

    YES!  Congratulations to the winners especially Carol Stewart founder and president of the Fton Historical Society.  She has been doing thankless and payless jobs every single day for 30+ years.  Not just for Fton but for Columbus as a whole. For my my money there is no harder working community activist out there!!
