    18 More Parking Meters Being Added to High Street Downtown

    It’s gotten a lot easier to park on High Street in Downtown Columbus in the past two years. Since 2012, 102 new parking meters have been added to the street through several rollout phases, and the final addition will take place tomorrow with 18 more going into service.

    The installation includes 14 new meters along the west side of High Street between Rich and Main Streets (across from the new 250 High building) and four more meters on the east side of High between Spring and Long (near the Atlas Building).

    The new meters will go into service tomorrow morning at 9am, and will accept credit and debit cards. All parking meters on High Street is prohibited weekdays between 7am to 9am and between 4pm and 6pm to accommodate COTA bus lanes during rush hour.
